‘Find Your Buried Treasure’ author will be workshop speaker

Saturday, Oct. 20 will be the last chance this year to participate in the one of the Georgia Writers Museum’s Writers Studio Workshops.

The previous three workshops have provided a vast cache of knowledge and inspiration to potential, as well as seasoned authors.

The October class will be led by Betty Liedtke, now a Lake Country resident. Liedtke is a writer, professional speaker, and a Certified Dream Coach. She is a Distinguished Toastmaster, a member of eWomenNetwork, and a graduate of the prestigious Loft Master Track program from the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. She is founder and CEO of “Find Your Buried Treasure,” a company whose mission is to help people discover their strengths, stretch beyond their ability, and achieve their greatest dreams.  One of her strongest convictions is that nothing is impossible if we want it badly enough and are willing to do the work to achieve it.

Her inspirational class will help those going through rough patches in life, and help you find fulfillment in your personal gifts. After all, Betty’s life has not always been chocolate and roses. Shortly after the birth of her second child, at the age of 34, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Then, severe heart damage from the chemotherapy less than a year later.

Liedtke has traveled all over the world, and even spoken to classes in Uganda. She is the author of five books. The price of the Workshop, includes a copy of one of her books.
