Lake Oconee Academy announces annual Denim & Diamonds fundraiser

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Lake Oconee Academy (LOA) and the Lake Oconee Academy Foundation (LOAF) is excited to announce their Annual Denim & Diamonds Charity Fundraiser is back! Saturday, April 23, at Collins Farm, this year’s event is all about “The Experience!” Attendees will Experience dinner, dancing, a silent and live auction, live entertainment by the Party Jammers, and more! Experience Fun, Music, Community, and Giving with all proceeds benefitting the Lake Oconee Academy Foundation (LOAF).

LOAF is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the educational Experience of every LOA student. As the school population continues to grow, the mission of the LOAF is to support this growth through new classroom buildings, fine arts programming, scholarship opportunities, and everything in between to enhance the educational Experience. In previous years, LOAF has raised funds to provide LOA students with 6,000+ library books, a piano lab, equipment for broadcasting, technology, band/musical theatre licenses, costumes, technology, athletic equipment, an upper elementary playground, visual arts supplies for honors and AP programs, travel scholarships for international study programs, new athletic fields for baseball, football and soccer, as well as a field house, and most recently, the campus expansion.

Tickets for this year’s Denim & Diamonds Fundraiser can be purchased individually for $125 per person. In addition, reserved tables and sponsorships are available. If you are unable to attend, please consider donating a ticket to a deserving LOA staff member.  You can also participate in the silent auction online, even if you do not attend the event.
