Top collegiate golfers to compete at Reynolds Lake Oconee

The 19th annual Linger Longer Invitational (LLI), co-hosted by the University of Georgia, Mercer University, and Kennesaw State University, is scheduled for March 16-19 at Reynolds Lake Oconee. Fans will be able to watch the stars in men’s college golf as some of the country’s top-ranked teams will participate, including top-ranked University of Alabama.

Linger Longer Invitational alumni include PGA TOUR players with combined earnings of over $300 million and 60+ PGA TOUR victories and 500+ PGA Top-10 finishes. Former LLI participants include Justin Thomas (Alabama, 2009), Rickie Fowler (Oklahoma State, 2009), Scottie Scheffler (Texas, 2015) and 2023 Champion, Nick Dunlap, who recently turned professional after winning last month on the PGA TOUR.

Both tournaments will feature individual and team competitions in 54-hole stroke-play on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Great Waters layout, which features no fewer than 10 holes on Lake Oconee and is ranked by Golf Digest as one of America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses.
