Carpenter, Hewatt named Sales Team of the Month for Reynolds Plantation Properties
Reynolds Plantation Properties is pleased to announce Jim Carpenter and Chris Hewatt as the Sales Team of the Month for December 2013. The pair sold the largest dollar volume among Reynolds Plantation Properties sales teams in the month of December, increasing their rookie year sales total to $1.48 million.
Carpenter moved to Reynolds Plantation from his hometown Rumson, New Jersey 10 years ago.
“The gorgeous lake setting and the lifestyle we discovered here sold us immediately,” said Carpenter, who lives with wife, Kristie, at Reynolds Plantation. “The amazing backdrop I get to call home makes selling within the gates much more than a job; this is personal for me.”
Bringing with him five years of prior experience in real estate sales at Lake Oconee, Carpenter started as a full-time sales executive with the Reynolds Plantation Properties team in April 2013. When not acquainting new buyers with the Reynolds Plantation lifestyle, he is an active volunteer in the local community, serving as the kicking coach and mentor for the Greene County High School football team for the past ten years. Carpenter has also helped with both the Greensboro Dreamers and Tri-Kids Inc., programs geared at developing young men and women into confident, productive members of society.
Hewatt moved to Reynolds Plantation from Hilton Head, S.C. in the summer of 2013, bringing with him over sixteen years of real estate experience.
“Reynolds Plantation was an easy move for me,” said Hewatt. “I love the lifestyle it offers its residents and the community, both inside and outside the gates. It is a great place to raise my family.”
Hewatt lives with his wife, Marybeth, and his three sons, Cody, Connor, and Jackson at Reynolds Plantation.
Hewatt’s focus is on building relationships with his clients and that approach has helped earn him “Salesperson of the Year” accolades a number of times throughout his career.
“I am really enjoying getting to know all the people that make up this community,” said Hewatt of his transition from Hilton Head to Lake Oconee. “It certainly makes my life easy to have such a wonderful community to represent when introducing new faces to the Lake Oconee area. I look forward to building upon the momentum of 2013 as we move into the new year.”
“December was a great month for Jim and Chris,” said Lee Arberg, senior vice president of sales at Reynolds Plantation Properties. “What a fantastic way to end our year with two new agents earning top numbers for the month of December. With Jim’s experience and knowledge of the local community and Chris’ sixteen years of success within the real estate business, these two positively compliment one another’s strengths. I am proud of their accomplishments thus far, and look forward to many more in 2014.”
