Scott hired as managing director at MMCC

The Board of the Madison Morgan Cultural Center announces the hiring of Beth Scott as Managing Director.  Ms. Scott, a long-time resident of Madison, began June 1.

Beth has an extensive background in management, budget and grant writing, and she is an avid student and supporter of the arts and humanities.

Says Scott, “I am excited to join the team that works so diligently and enthusiastically to ensure the continued success of the Cultural Center .  This is a wonderful opportunity for me to give back to an organization that has brought so much in the way of high-quality visual and performing arts to our region.”

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center is a vibrant non-profit visual and performing arts center serving the Southeast since 1976 and is located in historic Madison, GA.  Housed in an 1895 Romanesque Revival school building, the original school bell still rings for the many visitors and students who enjoy the full schedule of traveling exhibitions, mainstage performances, educational activities, special events, and other programs throughout the year.  For more information about the Cultural Center, please visit www.MMCC-ARTS.org or call (706) 342-4743 (877-233-0598).  The Center is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 – 5 p.m., and Sunday, 2 – 5 p.m.
