Reynolds Lake Oconee announces First Quarter Employee Awards

Reynolds Lake Oconee is pleased to announce the recipients of its First Quarter Employee Awards for 2021.

Brad DiMascio, superintendent at The Oconee course, has been named Leader of the Quarter, with Kim Gamble, line cook and Jeff Morgan, course advisor, being named Employees of the Quarter.

Brad DiMascio has been with Reynolds Lake Oconee for 16 years. He attended Penn State and received a degree in furfgrass management. Prior to joining Reynolds, DiMascio worked for the Kansas City Royals as a minor league groundskeeper.

“I love being outdoors every day and being able to be around different types of sports,” DiMascio said. “I enjoy working with all the people here at Reynolds and providing a well-maintained golf course, which all members can enjoy.”

In his free time, he likes spending time with his wife, Ginger, his son, Will, and his daughters, Emma and Ann. In the summertime, his family enjoys hanging out by the pool, playing sports, and riding horses. He is also a member of Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church and enjoys giving back to the community in any way he can.

Kim Gamble, line cook for culinary banquets, has been at Reynolds since 2019. She loves to interact with Members and guests, and share in the fun events held at Reynolds.

“The favorite part of my job is meeting new people from all over the world. People who’ve lived in different countries and hearing their amazing stories,” Gamble said. “I love organizing, planning parties, and weddings at Reynolds. Making people happy is what makes me happy.”

Before joining Reynolds, Gamble was a nurse. She holds a nursing degree along with a psychology degree. When she is not helping plan parties and weddings at Reynolds you can find her hanging out with her son Corey and grandson Ollie. She also loves to dance, work in her flower garden, and be out in the sun as much as possible.

Jeff Morgan, course advisor at the Oconee, is a graduate of the University of Georgia. In 1978, he played three amazing rounds in the US Amateur tournament.

Morgan’s everyday interactions with the Oconee and Milledgeville community are one of the main reasons he fell in love with the Middle Georgia area.

“I love meeting new people and working with friends,” Morgan said. “The environment Reynolds brings is one of the main aspects of this community he likes most.”

Morgan is a part of the Milledgeville First United Methodist Church, the Club at Lake Sinclair, and is a Sigma Chi Fraternity Alumnus. When he is not spending time at the Oconee, he can be found playing golf, watching his grandson’s ball games, and spending time with his family. He has two daughters, Amanda and Allison, and his wife of 49 years, Gay.
