Georgia was number 6 in the nation for new Elk members this past year. The Lake Oconee Elks Lodge gives back to its community. Since its beginning in 2005, the lodge has raised over $600,000 for its community and veteran projects. The Elks Lodges across the state are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up. The Elks website, www.elks.org says it all, “Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug free, meet the needs of today’s veterans, and improve the quality of life.” Come join us, become an Elk, and help us to make a difference in our community.
