Seventh annual Rhythm & Brews Festival lineup announced for Oct. 25

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Reynolds Lake Oconee, in collaboration with OPAS (Oconee Performing Arts Society), will present the seventh annual Rhythm & Brews Festival on Friday, Oct. 25 featuring headliner 38 Special.

Tickets are now available for sale.

For more than four decades, this explosive southern rock band has brought their signature sounds to over 100 cities a year. At each and every show, thousands of audience members are amazed by the power of the band’s performance, with rock-pop smashes such as “Hold On Loosely,” “Rockin’ Into the Night,” “Caught Up in You,” and “Fantasy Girl.” The band’s sales of more than 20 million records and multiple gold and platinum albums are a testament to the group’s timeless hits and enduring popularity.

Guitarist/vocalist Don Barnes of 38 Special says it’s all about maintaining that intensity in their live shows.

“We never wanted to be one of those bands that had maybe gotten a little soft or complacent over the years. We’re a team, and it’s always been kind of an unspoken rule that we don’t slack up, we stack up. We go out there every night to win.”
