Micki Tanner named Salesperson of the Month for Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties LLC is pleased to announce Micki Tanner as Salesperson of the Month for August 2022.

Tanner is originally from Albany, Ga. In late 1999, she moved from Chicago, Ill. to Reynolds Lake Oconee. Tanner joined the Reynolds Sales Team as a Resale Manager in 2000. She became a Buyer’s Agent in the fall of 2001, and since then has built an impressive reputation. She was recognized for numerous awards for going above and beyond through her significant involvement in the community, including the Reynolds Lake Oconee Sales Helping Hands Award, Good Neighbor Award, Realtor of the Year, Phoenix Award and Eagle Award from the Lake Country Board of Realtors. Tanner has also served as a past President, board member, and State Director of the Lake Country Board of Realtors. In 2021, Micki was awarded The President’s Award, an achievement earned through many years and hours of her time in helping LCBOR fulfill its mission.

“What attracted me to Reynolds was the lake, golf, and natural beauty of the area,” said Tanner. “But the real value of the community is found in the wonderful people that call Reynolds home.”

Outside of work, she is a lover of the arts, and she is a longtime and passionate supporter of the Oconee Performing Arts Society (OPAS), as well as the Eatonton and Lake Country theater troupes. She also attends four to five shows each year at The Atlanta Opera. Micki is very active in the community through her membership in the Rotary Club of Greene and Putnam Counties and has faithfully delivered Meals on Wheels throughout the years. Tanner enjoys playing golf and bridge, cheering on the Florida State University and Tennessee football teams, and serving as a member and lector at Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church. Her greatest loves are her husband, John, daughter and son-in-law, Cecelia and Matt, step-daughter, Susan, step-son and daughter-in-law, Andy and Marti, and four grandchildren. Holding a special spot in her heart is her daughter, Anne Tanner Berry, who is gone but never forgotten and forever loved.

“I am very impressed with Micki’s performance this month,” says Karen Saltzbart, senior vice president of Sales for Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties, LLC. “She is such an asset to our team and to all of her clients with her wealth of knowledge. I look forward to what she will accomplish in the future.”
