Davis joins Saint Joseph’s as rehab manager
Saint Joseph’s East Georgia recently welcomed physical therapist Cindy Davis of Union Point to its staff. Davis joined the hospital as manager of its new Rehabilitation Department.
The hospital recently expanded its services to provide a comprehensive Rehabilitation Department for outpatients, acute patients and swing bed patients.
Saint Joseph’s has added additional services including wound care and occupational therapy to its existing physical therapy and speech therapy programs.
Davis is currently overseeing all rehabilitation services and working closely with area physicians to continue Saint Joseph’s mission of bringing quality care to patients in the community and specialty services close to home.
“It is a great feeling to work within a hospital system that places as great of value on patient care and satisfaction as I do myself,” said Davis. “I am very excited about our long-term plan and possibilities for growth at SJEG for our patients in Greene County and the surrounding areas.”
Davis received a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee and an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Mississippi University for Women.
Before joining SJEG, Davis served as the assistant director of rehab for Morgan Memorial Hospital in Madison.
