Gala Art Exposition to feature Riverin’s work

The Magnolia Art Gallery of Fine Arts will present a Gala Art Exposition Saturday, Nov. 8 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. for Richard Riverin.
Riverin makes his own paints and paints with a Pallette knife. He will paint two small paintings that evening in front of viewers, the first one at 5 p.m. and the last one at 7 p.m. The show will continue on Sunday afternoon, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Oscar Wilde once wrote, “Beauty is its own genius.” The technically masterful, luscious and luminous oil paintings by Richard Riverin are that kind of genius. Not discovered by the Magnolia gallery until 2004, the gallery has been clamoring to make up for lost time, having missed out on the previous four decades of this brilliant artist’s career. In doing so, this is our second major art exposition in his honor and he has returned the compliment by dazzling our collectors who now save the date months in advance to vie Riverin sculpt with his specially formulated oil paints in life. Riverin just sold 53 original oil paintings to one of the largest art galleries in Montreal. For the 4th year in a row, Riverin has sold more art than any other artist at the New York Art Expo.
This event will be catered. Do come by and meet this astonishing artist and see him work his genius! Magnolia Art Gallery is located in Parkside Commons, in the Lake Oconee Village, right past Publix, down Market Street, turn left on Market Street. We are in a 1940s village, near Madeline Page Shoes, Gingers and Paper Soiree!
Other artists featured in this gallery are Sandra Witty, Ann Harris, Jim Richards, Kip Decker, Janice Harelson, Joyce Hornor, Ursula Kaminski, Laurie Yeates Adams, Lita Gatlin, Ann Copelan, Stan Strickland, Jim Colley, Ann Mann, Christina Doelling, Andrew Thomas, Daley Smith, Joe Ruiz and Elizabeth Chapman.
