Mark your calendars for April 25 when you’ll want to “Ease on Down the Road” to Festival Hall for the Lake Country Chorus’s Spring Concert “On Broadway,” featuring tunes from Tony award winning Broadway musicals.

There’s plenty of “Magic to Do”  when bringing Broadway tunes to life for an audience though voice, staging, set and costuming. This 50-singers-strong group is under the new direction of Cat Williamson, who is bringing great energy and enthusiasm to rehearsals in preparation for this show. It’s not an “Impossible Dream” to hear classic favorites from such musicals as “Les Miserables,” “Oklahoma,”“Guys and Dolls,” or “Rent,” but you may find some new favorites from shows such as “Dear Evan Hanson,”“Ragtime” or “Matilda.” Special guest appearances by “Kids” are always crowd pleasers, and once again students from the Arts Barn will be participating.
